Terms of Use

The terms that apply when you use Plano Mold Experts or send a quote request.

This website is owned and operated by Joe McGregor. Last updated October 28, 2026.

1. What this site is

Plano Mold Experts is a referral service. It connects people in Plano and Collin County, Texas, who have a mold problem with independent mold assessment and mold remediation companies licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The site is not a contractor, not a mold assessor or remediator, and holds no license of any kind. It does not perform mold assessment, testing, remediation or any construction work, and is not a party to any agreement between you and a company. Plano Mold Experts is an independent quote service and is not affiliated with any company of a similar name.

2. Free and no obligation

Requesting a quote is free. You are not obligated to hire any company that contacts you, and no company is obligated to quote your job.

3. How we are paid

Some companies pay a fee to receive quote requests from this site. That fee does not change what you pay a company, and it is not an endorsement.

4. Companies are independent

Every company that contacts you is an independent business. It sets its own prices, scope, schedule and terms. We do not verify any company's license status, insurance, registrations, permits or quality of work. Before hiring, verify the license at tdlr.texas.gov/LicenseSearch, ask for the Consumer Mold Information Sheet, proof of at least $1 million in liability insurance and the written protocol, and confirm that the assessing company and the remediating company are different businesses, as Texas law requires on the same project. Ask for the Certificate of Mold Damage Remediation within 10 days of completion. Any contract, payment, warranty or dispute is between you and the company.

5. Information, not advice

Prices, legal summaries, insurance notes and health precautions on this site are general information drawn from published sources and are not professional, legal, medical or insurance advice. Price ranges are typical published figures, not quotes. Texas statutes, TDLR rules, insurance forms and city permit requirements change; confirm anything that matters with the agency, your insurer, a lawyer or a doctor.

6. Consent to contact

By submitting the quote form you agree that we and the companies we share your request with may call, text or email you about it at the contact details you provide. You can withdraw consent at any time by telling us or the company. See the privacy policy.

7. Acceptable use

Use the form only to request quotes for a real property you own, rent or manage, or to ask about joining as a licensed company. Do not submit false information, other people's details without permission, or automated submissions, and do not copy, scrape or republish the site's content.

8. Limitation of liability

The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plano Mold Experts and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from any information on it, or from the acts, omissions, work or pricing of any company you contact through it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the site, which is nothing.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always posted here with its date, and continued use of the site means you accept it.
